I am Valdemir Batista Gomes - Naynawá Shanenawa.
Current chief of the Shane Kaya Shanenawa people.
I was born in the village of Morada Nova during the period of the bosses, a period in which I had difficulty maintaining the right to the traditional customs of my Shanenawa people.
I am a 51 years old farmer, married, father of 7 children, 22 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Founded in 2014 with a life project to strengthen the ancestral cultural practices of the Shanenawa, an indigenous people who have exercised their social culture in a developed way for thousands of years.
